Important information
Hay is a super important part of the menu for your guinea pigs and rabbits. They should always be able to eat hay.
Why is hay so important?
Chewing hay keeps the teeth short. Otherwise they can grow too long and cause dental problems.
Guinea pigs and rabbits are completely adapted to eating all day. Their digestive track should never be empty, otherwise they could have problems with their digestion.
If guinea pigs and rabbits eat a lot of hay, they do not become overweight as easily. They then eat less food that makes them fat.
It takes quite some time to chew hay properly. This way, your animals will be less likely to get bored when they eat a lot of hay.

Nutritional advice
Rodents and rabbits should have unlimited hay available to supplement their daily diet. Preferably place the hay in a hay rack or container.
Make sure there is always fresh drinking water and provide fresh vegetables regularly!
Storage advice
Store in a cool, dry and dark place, for example in a sealed bag, bucket or container. This means that the products remain good for longer and there is less chance of quality deterioration.
This natural food is composed of natural products. This means that the food may differ slightly in colour, smell, appearance and taste, depending on the origin, harvest time and weather conditions. In addition, it cannot be prevented that insects or their eggs or traces of other products may sometimes be present in the food. In many cases this is not harmful to the animals. If you have found something that does not belong in your food, please contact us.
Extra caution
If your pet has medical problems, it is important to first ask a veterinarian for advice. Herbs in particular can have a very beneficial supporting effect, but if in doubt, first seek the advice of an expert or ask us for advice by email.
